American Lubrication Equipment Corporation (ALEC) warrants to the original use purchaser for the original installation of the products depicted on this website. Warranty claims involving travel time and labor must be pre-approved by American Lubrication Equipment Corporation’s service department. ALEC does not pay travel time to repair/replace control handles, air systems components or portable equipment.
ALEC Products
ALEC, at its option, will repair or replace, free of charge, any product (excluding Advantage Plus and Challanger Series products) manufactured by ALEC that under normal use and service proves defective in material or workmanship, as determined by ALEC upon inspection within one year from date of purchase, 90 days from date of purchase if product is an air hose, two years from date of purchase if the product is an ESQ Series electric oil pump, DEF pump or three years from date of purchase if the product is an Electronic Digital Meter (excluding batteries) or Electronic Digital Metered Control Handle (excluding batteries), provided the product or part claimed to be defective is returned promptly to the ALEC facility or ALEC authorized service center with transportation charges prepaid, and is accompanied by original proof of purchase. This limited warranty does not cover failure of parts or components due to normal wear or damage or wear that in the judgement of ALEC results from misuse, abrasion, corrosion, negligence, accident, substitution of a non-ALEC part, faulty installation or tampering. If ALEC's inspection discloses no defect in material or workmanship, ALEC will notify the purchaser and, upon authorization by the purchaser, ALEC will repair or replace and return the product at ALEC's customary charges.
Advantage Plus Products
ALEC will provide repair parts free of charge for any Advantage Plus product that under normal use and service proves defective in material or workmanship, as determined by ALEC upon inspection within five years from date of purchase, provided the part claimed to be defective is returned promptly to ALEC with transportation charges prepaid, and is accompanied by original proof of purchase.
During the first year, ALEC, at its option, will repair or replace, free of charge, any Advantage Plus product, that under normal use and service proves defective in material or workmanship, as determined by ALEC upon inspection within one year from date of purchase, provided the product or part claimed to be defective is returned promptly to ALEC or an ALEC authorized service center with transportation charges prepaid, and is accompanied by original proof of purchase. This limited warranty does not cover failure of parts or components due to normal wear or damage or wear that in the judgment of ALEC results from misuse, abrasion, corrosion, negligence, accident, substitution of a non-ALEC part, faulty installation or tampering. The Advantage Plus Products 5 Year Limited Warranty does not cover routine maintenance, including but not limited to, normal user performed adjustments and maintenance of equipment, and the adjustment of any field adjustable packing nuts.
Products Not Manufactured by ALEC
ALEC makes no warranty as to products, accessories or components not manufactured by ALEC. These are subject to the warranty, if any, of their manufacturer. ALEC will provide reasonable assistance to the purchaser in making such claims.

The foregoing limited warranty supersedes, voids and is in lieu of any and all other warranties, expressed or implied. ALEC makes no warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. ALEC’s sole obligation and the original use purchaser’s sole remedy is as stated above, and in no event shall ALEC be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other damages or expenses of any nature including, without limitation, loss of profits or production time incurred by the original use purchaser or any other party.
ARO LUBRICATION EQUIPMENT WARRANTY
Ingersoll-Rand Fluid Products ("IRFP") warrants to the original use purchaser of the ARO® products depicted in this catalog that IRFP will repair or replace, free of charges, including return shipping costs within the Continental United States of America, any such product which under normal use and service proves defective in material and workmanship, as determined by IRFP inspection, within (A) 1 year from date of purchase of said products, other than the following, (B) 5 years from date of purchase of a Thunder Series Pump, (C) 5 years from date of purchase of a Diaphragm Pump, and (D) 5 years from date of purchase ARO® manufactured swivels, non-metered control handles, 4-1/4", 6" pumps, drains, follower plates, tie downs, siphon tubes, drum covers, provided the claimed defective product, or part thereof, is promptly returned to the IRFP factory or IRFP Customer Service Center with transportation charges prepaid.
This warranty does not cover failure of parts or components due to normal wear or damage or wear which in the judgement of ARO® arises from misuse, abrasion, corrosion, negligence, accident, substitution of non-ARO parts, faulty installation or tampering.
If IRFP inspection discloses no defect in material or workmanship, repair or replacement and return will be made at customary charges.
Equipment not covered by IRFP warranty: Accessories or components of equipment sold by IRFP that are not manufactured by IRFP (such as switches, hoses, meters, etc.) are subject to the warranty, if any, of their manufacturer. IRFP will provide the purchaser with reasonable assistance in making such claims.

ARO AIR SYSTEMS COMPONENTS WARRANTY
Ingersoll-Rand Fluid Products ("IRFP") warrants to the original use purchaser of the ARO® Air Systems Components depicted in this catalog that IRFP will repair or replace, free of charges, including return shipping costs within the Continental United States of America, any such product which under normal use and service proves defective in material or workmanship, as determined by IRFP inspection, two years from date of purchase, provided the claimed defective product or part thereof, is promptly returned to the IRFP Service Repair Center or a factory-authorized service repair center, with transportation charges prepaid.
If IRFP inspection discloses no defect in material or workmanship, repair or replacement and return will be made at customary charges.
The foregoing warranty supersedes, voids and is in lieu of all or any other warranties, expressed or implied, and no warranty of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose is intended or made. IRFP's sole obligation and the original use purchaser's sole remedy is as stated above and in no event shall IRFP be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other damages or expenses of any nature including, without limitation, loss of profits or production time incurred by the original use purchaser or any other party.
AMERICAN LUBRICATION POLICY
- Returns: No returns will be accepted without prior written authorization from American Lubrication Equipment Corporation. All items to be returned must be in the original factory carton and must be in unused re-saleable condition with transportation charges prepaid. All returned goods will be subject to inspection by American Lubrication Equipment Corporation before credit is issued. We reserve the right to charge an additional handling fee or return items to the purchaser if products are found to be in unacceptable condition upon our inspection. Customer must supply a copy of our original invoice as proof of purchase.
- Stock Adjustment: Stock adjustments will be made with prior written authorization. A list including quantities and model numbers of items to be returned must be faxed or mailed to American Lubrication Equipment Corporation. Only active part numbers will be considered and the products must have been purchased within the last 18 months. A 15% handling charge will be assessed. The 15% handling charge will be waived if a 2:1 offsetting order accompanies the original request for stock adjustment.
- Warranty: Warranty claims will be handled in accordance with the written warranties found in the Ingersoll-Rand ARO Fluid Products catalog and the American Lubrication Equipment Corporation lubrication equipment and supplies catalog. Contact either American Lubrication Equipment Corporation or one of our authorized warranty service centers with warranty claims.
- Defective Item(s): Prior written authorization is required in order to return items that are defective. Fax or mail your request for authorization for return to American Lubrication Equipment Corporation. If the returned item is found not to be defective, upon our inspection, the item will be returned at the customer’s expense.
